It’s not a celebration without lots of sugar.
New Mexico celebrated its 100th birthday today at 11:35am with happenings in cities across the state. One celebration in Albuquerque included 100 cupcakes decorated with the state flag’s symbol, the Zia. They were arranged into a vanilla and a chocolate version of the state and each consisted of 50 cupcakes. (Photo by Dean Hanson/Albuquerque Journal)
